“This place is nestled in a community and located right on the lake. Entertainment amenities are superb. Perfect for game nights, fishing, and watching sports in the large basement area. Dollar General & Food Lion are within a 10 minute drive. Kitchen needs some upgrades. Eating utensils are limited and two of the appliances (microwave/oven) were in need of repair. Water pressure is very low making dishwashing or taking a shower/bath difficult. Internet/cellular is spotty. As long as you can……

“Great location and great outdoor space. Home had plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids with enough pillows and linens. Could be better stocked. Clean. We fished, swam, floated and boated and set up a movie by the fire pit. We had a great time! There is so much waterfront here. Bring your own ANYTHING you need for cooking (salt, pepper, olive oil), grill utensils (they supplied plenty of propane), baking sheets, large serving bowls, laundry and dishwasher tabs, oven mits, bug spray, “pool”……

“Such a lovely, peaceful, relaxing, private location with gorgeous views of the water and surrounding woods in a clean, uncluttered, spacious, airy-but-cozy cabin with oodles of natural light. The photos really do not do it justice, it's even more beautiful in person! “The cabin was great. Very nicely decorated in the Bear theme and everything was in perfect condition. Good location to the local Marinas, Food Lion and Restaurants. Host was very responsive and even gave early access. Parking was easy, had a Bass Boat and little issues backing it into the driveway. Nice Garage available to park in. Just a great experience.”

“Trevor and the River Bend Retreat was so amazing. Between the adorable cabin itself, the pizza oven, the sauna, the hot tub, I would normally say I couldn't pick a favorite. But th trail to the field with stargazing was hands down the most dark and quiet area to star gaze. Highly recommmend the stay.”

“Beautiful cabin and grounds. Very relaxing. No cell service and the WiFi didn't work most of the time. Gas fireplace didn't work either and maintenance never responded. However, it was very comfortable, we enjoyed it very much, and we would stay again. ”

“The photos of this property do not do it justice- it is absolutely beautiful. The privacy is so nice, and the house itself was wonderful. We had our adult children there for Christmas dinner- and I’m quite sure they will be renting this house in the future. Also the mattresses and linens were very comfortable- which is impressive in any vacation rental. This is a treasure nestled in the country.”
