「Michele and Sara and their wonderful property were truly something else. We can, without any hesitation recommend this place. The rooms were beautiful. The breakfast that Sara would make each morning was magnificent. The location was divine. But, in the end, it’s the people that matter and they truly were the most incredible hosts.」

「This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.」

The suite itself was classy and full of character. We had a brilliant private spa experience which was super relaxing after a long driver during the day. 「Good hotel. If you drive to there based on Google Map, you better follow the main road instead of a muddy road recommend by Google. The hotel is near the old town (so as ZTL!) and just a 5 minutes walk. Montalcino old town get a lot of places to taste wine. Don't miss it!」

「Tuscany was the highlight of our time in Italy, and this hotel definitely played a part in that. It was rustic, cute, comfortable, and the sunset views were stunning. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We forgot to pack an umbrella and when we asked if the hotel had any, one of the staff gave us their own for the day. Such sweet hosts!
