「This is a wonderful example of historic English buildings that have been updated for modern stays without losing their architectural quirks and historical oddities. Not ideal for people with limited mobility, but we enjoyed ducking under low lintels and walking over uneven floors, some of which have been around for several centuries. Being located “right next” to the road, with the bed on that wall, it was noisy. Double pained windows on that wall would help. 」

「The Andel Lodge was a gem of a find! My sister and I stayed there on Tuesday 19th May and we were so impressed with everything! The decor was lovely, everywhere was spotlessly clean and our twin room was so cute! The staff were great, especially Theresa who really looked after us well, along with our aunt, uncle and cousin who were also staying there as we had a family funeral to go to.
