“The room was clean enough, the hot water was either extremely hot or only warm ish. Our tub also did not plug. The staff wasn’t very cheery, and when we went to check out there wasn’t anyone there. Fine enough for a run of the mill hotel. Also the restaurant hours aren’t great, I wouldn’t plan to eat there”

“The property is old and the walls could reuse a paint /wash, otherwise, for the price the bed and room was comfortable I give them a solid 4 stars.”

“We were in Nelson for a medical appointment and forgot all of our paperwork! The front desk happily printed quite a large package and when I tried to pay, they refused my money! They were all nice, the room was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again!”

“Our room (one room suite) was clean and well-maintained. Some noise carries between the rooms and the central room could use a lamp (the overhead light is quite stark) and some throw pillows. The staff was lovely, check in was a breeze, and the location was outstanding for us!”

The mattress was the worse thing i’ve EVER slept on, you’ll never fall out of bed cause you just keep rolling back into the middle!! you have to go into the pub to find the front desk person! The whole place smells like wet dog and kitty litter!”
