“We were very impressed with the overall layout of the unit. Nice living room. Bedrooms were just as advertised. the hot tub in the master bedroom was perfect. for us skiers Killington resort was just up the road. Here are a couple of negatives that we encountered. 1) The dishwasher had a note on it that said "Please do not use the dishwasher it is not draining" then under this the previous tenant wrote "this sign was here when we arrived. Have to wash dishes by hand". Really come on Vacasa get……

“this place is absolutely beautiful, the views, the house, the communication was all above and beyond. we stayed here during the floods in July '23 and we had no way to get home from roads being washed away and John made sure we had everything we needed and he let us stay an extra night. it was quite a scary experience but he really put our minds at ease and we Will definitely be staying here again! thank you again for everything!”

“We had a great time at this property. We loved the location, had a great time in the game room and were overall thrilled w our vacation. We had everything we needed to cook at home and we slept great on the comfy mattresses. We could not get the fireplace to work, but that had no impact on our stay. Thank you!”

“We loved our stay. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen ever. Better than being at home even! Really loved the porch area for storing ski gear. The hot tub felt great. Loved all the windows. So much light and great view. The only small draw back was it’s not a true ski in ski out. The trail is close but you do need to walk a bit to get to it. Overall we had a great visit and would stay here again!”

“The house was clean and full of extras such as a multi function game table, shelves of assorted boxed games & cards. There was a large deck with a large BBQ. All the rooms a large family would need. Clean and functional kitchen. A responsive owner that was immediately available for any questions. The view of the lake was delightful. If you find yourself in the Poultney VT. vicinity, this is the place to stay.”

“The property is very spacious and comfortable. The location is about a 25 minute drive from Killington mountain. The beds are very comfortable! There are some things about the property and the owner that really need some work: -The oven did not work. It would not heat above 100 degrees. -The WiFi did not work. We had to contact the owner for the password, and were still unable to connect. -There are no hand towels or soap in the kitchen. -There are no hooks or racks to hang jackets. -The towel……

“Bob’s bungalow was a perfect homebase for our ski trip. It had all the necessities we needed for cooking sleeping, and just plain hanging out after a long day of skiing.”

“This is a quirky spot with a beautiful elevated water view. The home is fully decorated with 30 years of family photos and memorabilia chronicling the construction of the camp. One negative was that someone had stayed in the house since the last cleaning. Smelly kitchen garbage of unclear age smelled up the entire house. 2 beds were slept in upon our arrival. Bathrooms and kitchen recently used. We were able to get cleaners out that day and the management company was responsive. The second……

“Our ski group reunions look a little different these days with little ones, but this house is perfect. With two floors and private bedrooms for all, we has 12 adults and 3 small children stay comfortably. The communal space is awesome with a long table for "family" dinners and socializing. Two refrigerators is clutch with such a big group and the proximity to killington skyship and bear mountain lodge make it SO easy to have a group of skier/non-skiers without being too far away. “It was very clean and area is beautiful. The pictures did not show inside stairs and i just had back surgery. It was very difficult for me on stairs. I wish i knew that before booking.. Also the couch in living room was terrible to sit in. If they remodeled the upstairs, i would stay again. Thank you”
