“This Inn was built in 1801, so it’s a very old Inn. There are not enough superlatives. Fantastic. Awesome. Amazing. Going back definitely. All rooms are beautifully furnished with four-posters and very comfortable chairs. Place to be lived in. Immaculately clean. As soon as you walk in you want to stay forever. Warm. Delicious homemade breakfasts. Innkeeper Elizabeth is friendly and accommodating. We could have talked for hours. Still blissing out days later. ”

“Cozy, quiet, relaxing cabin stay. Home was clean and cozy. View of pond/lake was fantastic. We visited the first weekend of April. There area had snow a couple of days before our arrival. I would have spent a great deal of time on the back deck if the weather had been warmer. Looking forward to visiting again.”

“What a beautiful place! Close to a lake, with different amenities (even though not all available during low season) and breakfast. Easy parking. We had the room with windows on top. Great stay with big bathroom/shower and very comfortable bed. The common area is very nice and very close to town too.”

“Stay was good and unit was clean However the head of the pull out couch bed tilted severely downward so had to sleep at the opposite end of the bed. Pull out couch bed should be checked.”

“Awesome location. Beautiful scenery. Worked for me and 3 of my buddies on a golf trip. Lacked some basic amenities. Some items were broken prior to us arriving. Inside of stove was very dirty. We made steaks the first night and the stove almost smoked the house out. Could have used some extra pillows and blankets as we had a couch sleeper and someone with a cot to accommodate 4 adult men. Overall we enjoyed our stay and worked for what we needed. Will definitely be back and will come more……

“We had a great time staying slopeside. It is a short walk down the road to get to Sundowner. We weren't first chair but we almost were. The house itself was clean and tidy. Had everything one would need and even had a coffee maker and Keurig. We will be planning to stay here again if we have the chance.”
