"I recently stayed at Arc La Rambla as a solo female traveler and felt very safe throughout my stay. I especially appreciated how kind and attentive all of the staff were. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and they would always acknowledge me with a hello or goodbye when I was coming and going, even if they were helping other guests. It’s a small gesture, but one that really stood out to me when traveling alone.
A couple of the amenities in my room had issues when I first arrived, including the lockbox and phone, but staff immediately sent someone up to repair or replace them.
I don’t usually have housekeeping come into my room during a stay, but one day I forgot to put the tag on my door. When I returned, everything had been cleaned, the towels were changed, the bed was made, and anything I had left out was neatly placed back in the same spot so it was easy to find.
The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a small balcony area where I could step outside or hang wet clothes to dry. My room faced the neighboring buildings with a partial view of a street going uphill and the hotel’s patio area. I also really appreciated being given a corner room, which offered a little extra privacy as a solo traveler.
Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend Arc La Rambla, especially to other solo travelers looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Barcelona."
