「This was a retirement trip for my husband, and we chose this home because of its lakefront location. Unfortunately, due to the severe drought conditions at Lake Norman, we were not able to fully enjoy the lake during our stay. The water level in the cove was very low, which limited how far we could kayak, and the receding water also made fishing from the dock less enjoyable than we had anticipated. The host did let us know about the drought a few days before our arrival, although we wish we had...
