"The property was clean and close to some popular restaurants that we were able to walk to and there was even a spa and an ice cream shop underneath the rooms at this boutique hotel. The room was large and we had a mini fridge, a microwave, a Keurig to make coffee and a kitchen sink and I think there was even a hot pad to cook on, and there were forks and utensils and plates because we were able to heat up some leftovers that we had. They had chairs that you could use for free and beach towels but you had to carry them to the beach and there were a lot of areas that were private beach areas so we weren't sure if we were allowed to sit where we did. On further down next to Jack's bar, you could also rent floaties and Beach Chase lounges but no umbrellas that I saw so we spent $60 on an umbrella that we only used one time. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked about recommendations on where we should go eat and things to do on the island. We used the city buses to get from place to place for only $2 Cayman Island money and $2.50 US dollar each way. The only thing that would have made it better is if we had a balcony overlooking the beach, but the view is obstructed and you can't see the ocean and you have to walk about five to seven minutes depending on which way you went to get to the beach. Everyone was very friendly, even the people we met on the city bus. I would recommend the Locale Hotel, the breakfast is very good and made fresh each morning."
"We absolutely loved this hotel! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The beach was incredible and the facilities and room was amazing too. We will definitely come back!"
"We loved our stay at Seven Mile Beach Resort and Club. The property was clean, staff were friendly and attentive, the value was great. The water was crystal clear. The actual sandy beach space is very limited to about the length of a beach lounge chair. Still plenty of fish to see right there in the water.
The only drawback was that the neighboring beach was having work done during our stay so we were cut off from directly walking up seven mile beach. No problem to just drive or walk to the far side of the beach reconstruction in order to access the rest. We would stay there again."
"We have stayed at this property for years. Up until this year, it was 5 stars across the board. Since the previous general manager left, I’ve noticed things have not been as great. The staff we encountered were first rate, but being overworked by staff shortages.
Our room was always immaculate but that was only because our person from housekeeping went out of her way to clean our room even though it wasn’t on her schedule (thank you Erica).
Beach staff we have had previously were outstanding (thank you Ovi and Branco), but on their days off, there was a very different level of care.
I still love the ritzy, but they need to get the previous GM back."
