Top Cayman Islands Hotel Reviews

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The property was beautifully landscaped, and the hotel pool and restaurants were very nice. The staff was friendly and attentive. The housekeeper was amazing and our room was spotless every day. We had dinner on the 10th floor restaurant once and it was very good although expensive once you have to add on side dishes to your dinner. The pool service was nice with towels and even sunscreen. The only minor downside was the beach situation. It’s a short walk or golf cart ride, and unless you pay hundreds extra for a “front row” chair or daybed, you are relegated to the rows of chairs behind the ocean front row. We went to another beach the next time, and it was beautiful. Overall a very nice property, definitely would recommend."

The Reef Beach Resort - All Inclusive - East End, Grand Cayman
8/10 Good
"This property is very pretty, but what really makes it is the staff. We stayed for 7 nights and did the all inclusive package. The all inclusive food is fantastic, but something to consider is that they will offer an upgrade package upon arrival (not advertised elsewhere) for certain things such as steak since importing food is very expensive. If you don’t end up upgrading packages, the other food options for the all inclusive are ALL incredible. Very very amazing staff. The concierge staff like Paul, the bar staff like Tony and Christian, are so incredibly friendly and easy to talk with, the wait staff such as Gabriella was also amazing. The manager, Lawrence, went above and beyond for us as well, reassuring us and educating us on the state of the ocean when we arrived. When we arrived, sadly, the property was suffering from an excessive amount of Sargassum, which leaves a rotten smell in the air. The hotel does its very best to clean this twice a day and removes it from the shores, however, it unfortunately made the water at the resort unsuitable for swim which was a bummer since the photos show crystal blue water. Of course, this is not within the resorts control and they do the best they can working around it and cleaning it up. We recommend renting a car if you stay here, because although the resort offers a number of activities and excursions that leave or take place directly at the resort, the best beaches are on the west side of the island about an hour out!"

Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach
10/10 Excellent
"This resort I will give 9/10, the resort is super good, the staff is a plus,,, the only thing is that their beach is a little rocky and not to clear,,, they are working to make it better and plus they have shuttle ( free) that take you to the main 7 miles beach which is stunning. Their breakfast is super and their restaurant Mr Pipper 👌👌👌. I will definitely come back soon 💃💃"

Villas of the Galleon
8/10 Good
"Property was great. Well kept grounds. Beach is beautiful. Check in easy and Lesley at front desk very helpful. Our actual unit (75) was great location but pretty tired. Layout was not comfortable, furniture was somewhat hodgepodge, AC was old and could never get below 73 but beds very nice. Note that the master bath shower is basically unusable - can’t really fit adult sized person. Master bath tub basically takes up half of entire master suite and is old and rusty. Awesome skylights in master but no window coverings so blazing bright sunshine at 6am daily. Other bathroom has recently been redone and is nice. They nicely offered to move us to another unit but we ended up deciding against it as only staying for a few more days. With some work, Villa 75 can be excellent - still not bad though as is. Wife was chastised on beach by people who were owners for “using their beach chairs” as they permanently lay out their towels each day in same chairs regardless if using them or not (even though rules specifically do not allow this). They are the same beach towels all of the units have so the chairs look the same. Honest mistake and she apologized profusely but was a rude confrontation that left a bad taste."
