The property was just as beautiful as shown in the photos. Unfortunately, we ran into a problem when we arrived—the gate code didn’t work. We tried to sort it out through the VRBO chat and attempted to contact the host several times for help, but sadly, we didn’t receive any callbacks as requested. It felt like we were communicating with a machine instead of a person. At 12:30 a.m., we still couldn’t get in. Thankfully, a kind resident let us use their access card, which allowed our two carloads of guests to enter. It was disappointing that the host didn't check in with us or show any concern about our situation. Having a property manager on-site could have made a big difference in addressing issues like this. Overall, the property was wonderful, but we believe it’s important to enhance communication with guests when challenges arise.
