「Quick stay, but we loved that it was off the beaten path. Super clean. No AC, so warmer than we’re used to, but I knew that going in. Only surprise was the sheer number of mosquitos. Wow. But we used bug spray and moved along (and obviously that’s just nature and the season, certainly not a knock on the property). Would definitely recommend as a home base to explore the valley. 」

「This large house was very secluded, just what we wanted. The photos for the listing does not due justice. It was large enough to have a small family reunion. The host (Bill) was awesome and was very responsive when contacted. Our only issue was the pool. According to the host he recently lost his pool maintenance help. Having a pool of our we knew what needed to be done and the host allowed access for any supplies and was quick to lend a hand. Overall, we could not have had a better...

The location and view of the mountains is to die for I loved how the house was set up in a way that you’re always looking out a window at the mountain no matter what room you’re in. 「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was equipped with everything we needed, very spacious, clean and peaceful. We loved watching the stunning sunrise views over the mountains from the deck, stargazing from the swings, and exploring Great Sand Dunes NP, which was conveniently close by (less than 30 min drive). Kristen was very welcoming and responsive. Thanks for an awesome stay; we’d definitely come back!」

「This place had amazing views and was just what we were looking for to use as a short stay on our way home from the Ouray area and to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park before leaving Colorado back to Wisconsin. The owner answered all questions both leading up to the trip, and while staying at the house. Be prepared, there is not much of anything in the area for shops or food, but there is a dollar general 20 minutes away and a great place for food named "Food is art". They treated my family...

「Super neat home. This place has lots of character and a very accessible layout. Beautiful views all the way around. There was no air conditioning so it was a little stuffy at first but after we got the windows opened up it cooled off really nicely that first evening. 」

「Booked the stay to get out of the city during the holiday. It had everything we needed: peace, quiet, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hot water, dark skies, and a toothbrush to use since I forgot one. 」

「Home was lovely, very clean, well kept and inviting. The game room with karaoke, large projector, games was super nice and a big hit with the kids. We had a family fun dance party. The small town of Crestone was eclectic. The only downside were the mosquitos.」

「We could not get a hold of host for keyless access and to talk about concerns we had. I sent multiple emails and called him several times and left voicemails. He called us 30 minutes before our checkin saying he had never received anything from me. We ended up staying at a hotel and didn’t receive our full refund.」

「Nice big house, plenty of room for two families!Note—the kitchen is upstairs! Be ready to carry that cooler up a long flight of stairs….It is an hour to Great Sand Dunes, and almost that to most SLV locations. 」
