“It worked for us while we were at the US Open. We were gone ever day, and some days didn’t get back till late. We ate a few meals in the apartment, and had enough kitchen accoutrements to handle our meal. The shower worked well and we had enough towels, although they were old. Our bed and pillows and bed linens worked well for us. The AC worked well, although it wasn’t a hot week. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores etc. nearby. This is……

“The host was extremely attentive to any questions or needs. Excellent and immediate communication. Good, quiet location between Islip airport and Port Jefferson. The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths. The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul.”

“I left 5* because communication with host was superb. Unfortunately, we did not get to stay there due an issue on our end. From what I experienced with the host and the pictures, I have no reason to believe the home would've been less than perfect. Top notch host and I thank him for always being in touch, from before we supposed to be there, all the way thru, he made sure to reach out.”

“Understand that this was during The Ryder Cup and cost was up, but no matter what was paid there are some issues with the property everyone should understand if they plan to reserve. This is an old house that has not been refreshed or well maintained. It was not professionally cleaned before our arrival. Linens were fresh and clean, but the kitchen, fridge, floors and cabinets are dirty. We found pills under side tables for example. One room locks with a pad lock and key. The bathroom door……
