“This property's management is obviously more concerned about making a buck that providing any sort of customer service. Due to a wildfire in the area, I called the day of our check-in to request a cancellation or rebook to a different date. The highway leading into Ouray was closed and law enforcement was urging people to stay away. I was told that as I booked through Expedia it was impossible to change the reservation and that they had a clear policy of no refund less than 14 days out. I……

“This property is very nice. Fully remodeled from a turn-of-the-century home built in Georgetown. Jamie, the owner, was kind and courteous. Accommodations were perfect and clean, and her breakfast was yummy every day. We would highly recommend this location to others wanting a charming get away.”

“Motel itself is old, outdated but room was clean so it was ok to stay for 1-2 nights. The floor was leaning in a little bit so kind of weird to walk on it, no common area either. “No address on the webpage where we booked the "cabin". It is called Bristlecone Lodge on it's website. difficult to find. We got there near 6 PM, did not know they shutdown checkin at 6 PM. No decaf coffee available in the room. Breakfast was waffles, that's it, no eggs, fruit, bacon, nothing, just waffles.”

“The staff was lovely. Tracy at the front desk was incredibly helpful and cordial. She helped us reserve a ride to the airport that was less expensive than Uber. The room was nicely apportioned. The only thing was the neighbors in the next room were a bit loud — they were watching sports. But otherwise everything was wonderful. We’d stay there again.”
