“Beautiful property, attentive staff, very comfortable. ”

“We had a fantastic stay at De Bergkant in late July. The setting and surrounding view was stunning. We were greeted by Tracey who was manager and head chef. She could not have been more helpful. She provided recommendations on things to do in Prince Albert and places to eat, even made our dinner reservations for us. The rooms and the grounds were clean and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast. Tracey prepared a varied 5 course breakfast each morning that could only be……

“Great place and a Lovely room!! But the check in felt a little weird/very rushed. The manager showed us the apartment and explained everything in like 1 minute. It was alot to take in and remember and he talked very fast so I had to ask again several times... It felt like he was in a hurry and that in turn made us feel unwelcome. Very weird customer service. But the place was lovely in a great quiet place with gorgeous surroundings.”

“Unfortunately the room lacked ablution privacy which was not disclosed”

“Good value for money, overnight stop enroute to the coast”

“Brilliant as it was pet friendly. Loved the stay”

“Spotless room and facilities. Beautiful restaurants. Highly recommended”

“Simply the best”

“I’m sure the property is beautiful but I searched Prince Albert, Sask in Canada and booked Prince Albert, South Africa. The owner never got back to me and I can’t get a hold of Expedia. So, I’m out $300. I will never use Expedia again. PS. I know this was my fault but I feel I was misled by the Expedia website.”

“Great stay”

“It is very clean but everything about it feels a lot more like a cheap motel than a country lodge”

“What a beautiful jewel in the Karoo.”

“Excellent facilities and hosting. We were made to feel very welcome. Loved the log burner and comfortable bed.”

“I only stayed one night but this place was excellent and I will definitely be back. Super warm and friendly welcome, and excellent communication in advance of arrival. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, set in a beautiful property. The sherry in the room was a cherry on the top of all this! Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area or passing through.”
