Monforte de Lemos Centro do Viño da Ribeira Sacra Hotels

"The Parador has amazing history and location. It sits over looking Monforte de Lemos, which is an ok walk down to the town but is a little challenging walking back up (there is a taxi rank in the town). The room we had looked out over the entrance and was large and clean but lacked style / a plushness considering it’s the best hotel in town. It was unfortunate that the pool area was closed, so bar the court yard for drinks / food there were no outside spaces to relax. We ate lunch on arrival...

"Staff were excellent. Breakfast as expected. Early checkin via Expedia messaging service was not answered prior to arrival, staff were accommodating. "

"If you get a room with outside view it can be a good one, but if you get an inside one (as me) it's like hell."

"Amazing experience, my only comment would be to make the spa available free to every guest, this would bring the feel of community to the hotel, which is the good thing about jacuzzi and sauna. "

"it has an incredible view of the river and wineries, nice walkable trails,...a great "get away from it all". just note that you will not be able to park close to your room, so pack light!"

"Santo Estevo is a must stop! From the historical arquitectura to the extremely well kept rooms, grounds, delicious breakfast to very helpful, friendly staff, with easy parking! The grounds of magical forests with their mystical paths are a once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend! Will return! Muchas gracias!"
