Allso we were all very impressed with the standard and creativity of food offered by Jamie the chef. “Which was this hotel because of it’s close to the train station as well as the ski tram, which is a short walk. I was doing a ski trip so I made the logistics a lot easier. Didn’t realize that this hotel was in the sports center, which itself is quite impressive with a hockey rink three pools, curling rink, gymnasium, full gym and the bistro. Breakfast is pretty simple, but decent. The rooms are somewhat dorm style with two twin beds and a twin bunk. There is a Ski storage and the rooms had……

“A hidden gem tucked away in a sweet little Swiss French village. These waters are incredibly healing and the staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The location is wonderful, between two mountains and there are saunas, hammans, jacuzzis, massage jets and so much more. I loved my stay at the hotel and it was quiet and serene. The only downside was at the buffet as I have a shellfish allergy and I don’t read French, but that’s more on me than them. Easy train ride from almost……

“This property is pretty much perfect as a solo traveller, it is definitely on the lower cost of properties in the town but this does not mean it is unwelcoming, uncomfortable or cold. The room very much reminded me of my university days, small but functional. Breakfast was just right to start the day, with a typical continental fare and dont miss out on a hard boiled egg. Coffee is available all day long and the honesty bar for beer, wine and soft drinks is a life saver. I wouldn't hesitate……

“We visited Les Gets for the first time and our stay at the Chalet-Hôtel La Marmotte could not have been better. We were warmly greeted by reception, had the most amazing room and so impressed with the cosy lounge. The breakfast was delicious, the location perfect as directly by the slopes and lifts (if skiing). The most relaxing luxurious stay in a quality hotel.
