“Staff was very nice and helpful. Just that the building is showing its age. The bathroom was very small and didn't have a sink (the sink was outside of the bathroom). The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, not much of a selection of items. ”

The property manager made check in a breeze and was also very fast to respond to questions not only about the property, but the surrounding area. Location was within 15 minutes to numerous boat launches in the area. The road the property was on was very quiet with very light traffic. “The property was a last minute booking for a Thanskgiving weekend stay with our adult children. The house was super clean, bed sheets were so white they looked brand new. Even though it was a pet-friendly rental, there was zero evidence that any pets had ever stayed there... not even a faint scent of pets or a stray dog hair. Lots of games to choose from. The location was great... lots of privacy and a spectacular view. Communication with the host was oustanding. Would definitelty choose this……

“We have stayed here several times and we love it. It is clean when we arrive and is a nice traditional Door County Cottage. The views are spectacular and sunsets and sunrises are awesome. The love swing overlooking Sand Bay and bonfire pit are nice touches. Located on the end of a dead end road, it offers privacy and is close to all Door County attractions. We highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit....”

“Secluded location on the lake. We loved the location and the serenity of the house. Enough space for all three adults. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. There was a musty odor upon entering the bedrooms. Looks like some airing out is needed. My guess is that the cleaning service is not doing their job. The floor looked clean but feels sticky if you are walking bare feet. I felt the refrigerator was not clean enough and the microwave glass had serious liquid streak. Kitchen was stocked but this……

“Our group did a 3-day weekend fishing trip in Oconto. The 'KK Lodge' cabin is in a perfect location from the boat launch. We had ample space for parking and recharging our boat batteries for the next day's trip out on the water. The property is beautiful, has plenty of sleeping areas, and an extremely well-stocked bathroom and kitchen!”

“Our trip was great. The house is small and is probably better for a summer getaway, than a winter one, but we made it work. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating. The game room was fun, although some of the things were broken. The mattresses in the bunk bed room were super comfy. My one recommendation would be to pay very close attention to the pictures. I guess I didn't because I didn't realize there wasn't really a couch if you used the second bedroom, just a couple of chairs and……

The rooms and layout of this house are great for a multi family stay. Owner was easy to communicate with for a late check out.
