10/10 Excellent

Small cottage, 25 mins drive to Lyme Regis, Taunton or Yeovil.

Small cottage, 25 mins drive to Lyme Regis, Taunton or Yeovil.. Chard a short of about 3 miles.. Good location. Cottage is well equipped and comfortable for short stays.. I stayed for 2 weeks and found cooking a challenge on a small 'desk top' type oven with 2 hob rings that were very slow to heat up. Especially when the rings would only work when the oven was turned off... However, you adapt and my tip is with a combination of good timings using the oven first, boiling water before cooking veg to speed up cooking time and using the microwave to reheat if necessary, I got round it..I didn't like the oven and I'm just being honest but I'm not going to drop the star rating because overall i enjoyed my stay and the place deserves 5 stars..

6/10 Okay
