Tru By Hilton Cleveland Midtown

2/10 Terrible

"The room was clean. However, the toilet was constantly draining and making noises. I asked them to fix it, they said that the housekeeping wasn't here and nothing would be able to be done until the morning. The lady in the morning said it's supposed to be maintenance, not housekeeping. They were apparently both not there still. It kept us up as the constant noise kept echoing through the room. Then randomly the alarm started going off. The alarm said to turn it off, press the button. Then it went off alreast 2 more times. I just straight up unplugged it from the outlet. The plug was also super dusty. I asked for a different room, they said they were sold out of all rooms. They especially couldn't offer me anything because we booked through Expedia. I had to drive 6 hours home with terrible sleep."

Hyatt Place Cleveland/Lyndhurst/Legacy Village

"Hyatt Place Legacy Village is our go-to hotel whatever we visit Cleveland. The property is clean, the rooms are comfortable and convenient to a variety of local places and activities. However, the last two stays here have been problematic in that NO housekeeping was provided, despite my being a Hyatt discover member, despite promises on arrival that our room would be cleaned daily, and despite repeated, polite inquiries with the front desk staff."

"This place is absolutely filthy. My room was dirty when i walked in. sticky liquid stuck to the walls, light switches were sticky and gross. the carpet was covered in crumbs and dirt and the AC machine was covered in mold and didn't turn on( not that i would have anyway) someone peed in the elevator on my first day there and after a 4 day visit the elevator still had not been cleaned. I slept in my car the last night in the parking lot of the hotel because of how gross it was. if you stay here, you will 100% be exposed to other people feces and urine."

"The Inn is wonderfully quaint and charming, with an onsite bar and restaurant serving up delicious American cuisine. The rooms are cozy and beds are so comfortable. The staff and owner, A.K.A., the Chief COW (Creator of WOW!) — went out of their way to make us feel welcome. 5 Stars all the way!! We can’t wait to go back!!!"
