Wonderful stay. Host was great to communicate with. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. They even had some dog toys inside the house that my babies loved. Very very comfortable beds, some of the best we have slept on.

Home Away From Home.

The check in was very easy and the home was very clean. We did not use the Hot tub even though that was a surprise to see on the covered porch. My favorite part was the whole fenced in yard. Very nice with my little babies. I didn’t worry about my dogs as much as I would have in a hotel.

This is a great spot to vacation while exploring the Charleston area. Secluded location in a quiet neighborhood. Super hot weekend, but the hot tub actually served to help relax in the early evening. We just kept the temp a little lower than normal, and it served like a plunge pool. The owner was a great communicator, and offered some great advice for local restaurants and bars.

Perfect getaway close enough to the city

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and stocked with everything that you will ever need. We brought our dog and the owner even had supplies for pets such as dog bowls, beds, couch cleaner, etc. Owner has put a lot of thought to provide the best experience to include your pet. The neighborhood was great and very close to Hampton park. Roughly a 10 minute drive to downtown or a quick uber drive. Owner is very responsive and provides information ahead of your stay and throughout. We would definitely stay again!

Wedding in C-Town

We were in Charleston for our daughter’s wedding. The Cosy Charleston Getaway was perfect for our stay. The location was close to the wedding venue, restaurants and other areas of interest. The home worked perfectly for four of us and had plenty of room to visit when other family members stopped. Loved our stay there. Baker was awesome. Cheers.

Peaceful Neighborhood

We enjoyed Charleston and the surrounding area. Several of the pop-up restaurants in the neighborhood were yummy and fun. The house sits in what seems to be a Gentrification neighborhood and walkable. You do need a car or access to ride share to access the downtown area.

Everything You Need and Perfectly Situated

We loved staying here! The location made it convenient to walk to area restaurants, as well as the beautiful and relaxing Hampton Park. Everything we needed was provided and easy to find. We'll definitely stay here again!

Welcoming Home!

This was a great place to stay! The home was well-appointed and very comfortable. It was so convenient to be nestled in a neighborhood close to downtown. Our communication with the property owner was excellent from the time we inquired about the home until the day after we left. Questions were answered very quickly and we were shown southern hospitality in spades! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location/Thoughtful host

The house is in a quiet neighborhood and yet just a quick drive to everything we wanted to visit. The host's website was informative and thorough. The host was also quick to respond to the one or two questions we had. It was a great place to spend the evening after a full day of exploring.

Loved this house and the location!

We travel a lot for work and vacation and always want to bring our dog but finding a convenient, pet friendly, affordable location can be a challenge. Imagine our surprise when we found this great little house that even had a fenced in yard! Right in Charleston and 15 minutes from the beach it had everything we could ever want. Property owner was super communicative, process was very easy and we were even provided places to check out around the area. We will definitely be back!

Charleston stay

Very nice remodeled older home. Great communication from Baker (the owner). Great location and safe neighborhood. Wonderful park three blocks away. Location was perfect! Close to restaurants, coffee shops, 20 minutes from the beach! We will be back!!!

Not what we expected

The positive about this listing is its location. It's convenient to downtown Charleston as well as Isle of Palms/Sullivan's Island. There is an amazing park close by which is lovely to walk in for people and pets. That being said, we would not stay here again. Advertising that this property has been remodeled and has air conditioning are both misleading. Only AFTER you book, do you receive notice that the central AC doesn't really work well, so there are window units to supplement. The info says there are 3 window units, but there were only two. The living room stayed comfortably cool, as did the one bedroom with a window unit. However, the actual master, which was supposed to have a window unit did not, and was too hot to sleep in . Additionally, it wasn't even that hot outside as far as Charleston temperatures go, so I can't imagine what it would be like when it's 95-100 degrees outside. As for being remodeled, this house needs some TLC. The kitchen may have been updated, but anything else appeared to be cosmetic only. There were AC vent covers in the ceiling. One was taped to the ceiling. Two appeared to have mold growing around them. The shower door in the master bath is broken. The towel bar is gone from the wall in the same bathroom. The ceiling fan in the living room has no light bulbs. An attempt has been made to make it convenient to plug in phones or devices by using multiple extension cords that really seem like fire hazards. It just didn't meet our expectations.

Graduation weekend

Quick trip to Charleston for a family graduation and Baker’s property was the perfect base camp. Close to everything, nicely equipped and plenty of recommendations for the local area. She has the best digital guest handbook we’ve ever encountered in all of our travels. Anything you wanted to know was in her guide. Our only regret was not enough time spent on that nice back porch due to the stormy weather. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us!

Great stay

Excellent Wagner Terrace location just blocks to Hampton Park. Great communication and easy check in & check out. Will definitely stay there again!
