Exceeded expectations

The house was larger than the pictures portrayed. Great location within walking distance to all of the fine attractions Charleston has to offer. Communication with the host was great. Will definitely book again.

Kitchen is wonderfully equipped and beds were soooooo comfortable. Really an easy walk to almost everything in old city.

The house itself is very spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The neighborhood has plenty of nearby food and is a short walk from downtown.

Comfortable and set up well.

The location was good, but could be a bit noisy - really recommend having ear plugs to sleep. The kitchen was wonderful, rooms were a nice size for entertaining. Overall it was very enjoyable.

Lovely place

Nice place and clean. Lots of room which was great. Only one parking permit for street parking. If you have a second car you have to park in a garage.

Bachelor Party Weekend

We rented this house for my bachelor party, we had 6 guys and the house was perfect for us! It was a great location, easy to access, clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the downstairs heat but the host addressed it in a timely manner and it was greatly appreciated as temps were near freezing at night.

53 Cannon Street

We had a great time staying at 53 Cannon for a close friend’s bachelor party weekend. The house had several amenities and we particularly enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. The location is just off King Street and easily walkable to Charleston’s attractions. The property group was also very accommodating with our schedules and allowed our friends who were traveling from out of state drop their luggage off before the official check-in. I would recommend this listing to others visiting the area.

Girls trip

4 girlfriends stayed on this trip. Great stay overall! Pro: Close to King st. And easy to walk to restaurants & downtown life! Plenty of room in the house, large rooms. An issue with bedding, but it was quickly resolved upon reaching out. Con: if you are looking to sleep in or for some quiet, this might not be it for you. Street is busy, & in an old house you can hear everything inside & outside.

Great Vintage Home

Very nice and clean. Loved the decor and hard wood floors. Nice space for dining and relaxing. Location is walking distance to King Street. Need to add mirrors to bedrooms. Need to add an electrical outlet to the downstairs bathroom. The outside of the property needs some sprucing up (siding, staining and/or color of front door) and it would look great.

Cannon in Charleston

The interior was as advertised. 1 full bathroom plus half bath. King bed was too soft, but double bed was acceptable. Exterior needs painting since neighboring homes were updated. Neighborhood was noisy from midnight to 2 am; bring earplugs. Ladles soup restaurant 1 block away was exceptional!

Mostly great

We loved the location, the bedrooms, the common areas, and well-stocked kitchen. The full bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. Think of Will Ferrell showering in Elf. My husband is 6 feet and was crammed. A low shower head hanging in a claw foot tub. But the other elements were terrific so I still recommend.
