Beautiful room! The courtyard was very pretty as was the lobby. The staff was extremely helpful in finding my daughter a quiet place to wrap a last college exam before our room ready (we arrived early for check in.) looking forward to a future stay.

perfect location for Charleston Library society and a long list of excellent small shops right outside the door. Breakfast was simple but good - all I needed. The lack of available water other than from the faucet inside the hotel was a bit of a problem.. a source of bottled water would have been wonderful. Staff all excellent..welcoming and helpful.

This hotel is beautiful - from the architecture, lobby, outdoor spaces, to the rooms. Our hotel room was spacious with lovely furnishings. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I especially loved having the delicious croissants, pastries and coffee delivered to our room each morning and the wine and cheese/crackers happy hour each day. It is also very walkable - to shops, restaurants, bars, the fountain, waterfront. We wandered the streets looking at all the beautiful century homes. Parking is in a garage a short walk behind the hotel. There is an empty lot directly behind the hotel...not sure why the hotel does not use it?. But the garage was fine. We had a wonderful time in Charleston and when we return, we will definitely stay at Kings Courtyard again!

Perfect Hotel!

What a lovely hotel! It was clean and welcoming. Loved the relaxing patio area, which offered free breakfast in the morning and free wine in the evening! Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance, would definitely stay there again!

Well maintained and clean. Friendly and helpful staff! Free breakfast and coffee delivered to our room every morning was such a treat! Great location to everything in the historic district. Our room was decorated so charming and clean but only downside was the mattresses are wearing down a bit and need to be replaced, regardless, we slept well and I would still recommend. Great check in/checkout times as well!

Tastefully renovated historic hotel, close walking distance to tourist attractions. Helpful and friendly staff. Quiet, clean and comfortable room. Easy parking lot immediately behind hotel for $17 / day (public parking lot). A continental breakfast is included, which was just okay.

Cute boutique hotel in old district

Just a few blocks walk to the famous market. Room was pleasant with high ceilings. Bed was a little soft. Continental breakfast was better than expected. Free parking behind building.

The property is a small historic hotel. They still use actual keys for the rooms. No key cards, which you don’t see a lot of these days. It was very quiet and in a safe area. Very walkable to shopping and dining. Breakfast was included and they will bring it up to your room if you want them too. They provide menu cards that you have to fill out and hang on your door before 11 PM every night. Look
