“This house was ideal for us to stay in County Mayo as a base to explore the area. It is just 10 mins from the Town of Ballina and only a short drive to the coast. The cottage contained most things we needed and instructions from the property manager we’re clear and accurate. It was great to be able to self cater as if at home. We would stay again if in the area.”

“This cottage was absolutely perfect! Cozy and clean. A well equipped kitchen. We made several day trips to Sligo, the Aran Islands, and most of the Wild Atlantic Way. Yes, it was a drive…but this cottage was so comfy to come back to each night!”

“Our family of 4 spent 6 nights at this lovely place and had a great time. Good location - we were able to explore the area (Balleek Forest, Westport, WAW coast) but you would need a car. The house way wonderful - lots of space and super comfy beds. My kids didn’t want to leave - swing sets, hot tub, beach, and donkeys - what more could they ask for.”

“For us 4 anglers on the River Moy (Armstrong route) an ideal starting point. Short distances to our fishing route. On the whole we were also satisfied with the accommodation. Except for a few shortcomings that I would like to describe. We were particularly surprised at the unacceptable dirt that came out after the bed linen had been removed. All pillows were so dirt and blood stains that are not tolerable. The pan for the stove is so dirty (dirt burned in) and can no longer be used! The existing……

“Our stay in Murphy's hotel was great. The room was comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was delicious.”

“Impressive looking hotel. My room was well furnished and comfortable. The hotel was equipped with a gym ( which I don't use) and a swimming pool, sauna and steam room which I did use. There was plenty of choice at breakfast as both cooked breakfast and continental style breakfast were available. Fresh fruit was also available for breakfast. In general the staff were friendly and helpful. What I found difficult, as someone arriving on public transport was the distance from the bus station……
