If we were there longer we would have loved to bring our bikes so we could easily get to the beach and downtown. I will say the bed was pretty uncomfortable which was a bummer. "It was a very cute cozy cabin. It had all the basic necessities including oven, microwave, refrigerator which was nice but the cleanliness of the house was below average. Dust could be seen on the walls, the bathroom mirror had not been cleaned. There was splatter of some kind on the bathroom wall just above the mirror. The dish rack once we pulled it out from under the kitchen counter was gross. The heater when it turned on rattled very loudly. It sounded like the fan was broken and hitting...

I am a clean freak and it was clean enough - not perfect, but clean enough that I was very comfortable. 😊 The decor and design of the place was great - cozy, restful, quiet. "Our family of five stayed for a ski weekend. It was the perfect place for our stay. Close to both ski hills we visited. We love the city of Petoskey, but don’t have time to visit. The host was amazing about letting us check in early and our kids loved the Petoskey stone keepsakes of the trip. The layout of the home was unique, but it added to its charm. The checkout procedures were minimal and the kitchen was well stocked. We are truly looking forward to staying again next year. Thanks!!"

Perched on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, this hobbit house is within walking distance of all downtown Charlevoix has to offer along with easy access to parks and beaches. I adored staying here and look forward to the opportunity to do so again."
