The staff was very friendly. My reason for 2 stars is the condition of the bathroom. There was black mold covering the entire ceiling, the shower curtain smelled really sour, there was someone’s boogers on the wall in front of the toilet, there was absolutely no hand soap in the soap dispenser, there was a previously used roll of toilet paper in the dispenser instead of a fresh one, and maybe 4 tissues in the tissue box. My parents and brothers stayed in another room on the first floor, and they said that there was black mold all over their ceiling as well. That really needs to be addressed before somebody ends up getting sick from it. We also found multiple live insects around the room. Something else disappointing was there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. But considering the cleanliness of what I listed above, I’m not sure I would trust the condition of the coffee maker, so it might be a good thing there isn’t one.

Found out there were roaches in the room. When we woke up, there was a bug in the bed with us. Went to the front desk to ask for a resolution (refund) they beat around the bush and came up with multiple excuses to not give us the refund. We our now waiting on an “investigation” to conclude even though we showed them photos of the issue. Normally we don’t have problems here, but they seem to be under new management and they aren’t accommodating at all.

I called the motel to move my stay from that evening to the next day. I was sick and had to delay my travel because I was at urgent care. They told me that I must change the reservation through Expedia. I did not realize that service was different depending how the reservation was booked. The nightly rate was identical.Expedia would not allow any changes so I drove for 7 hours and arrived at the motel at 10:30pm. I won't book through Expedia and I won't stay at this motel in the future. It was very noisy. Heard traffic and other reservation holders late into the evening. Walls are paper thin.

The bed was metal and every time i moved it was loud enough to keep me awake. The TV does not have a guide and I was told it was too much money for the company, the tub was so high I had to sit on the side and swing my legs over to get in. The breakfast was pretty disappointing. Then the bed….the metal around the base was bumped into too easily and gave a loud sound. Not appreciated during the night. Also, the bed squeaked and creaked. Needless to say, we won’t book at the Red Roof again. On the plus side, the bed was comfy and we didn’t have to sleep in the car.

Too loud and dated

Located right on the freeway but the windows are not insulated and it was super loud and it kept me up at night. No smoker room smelled like it was smoked in and hair dryer was dirty and sticky. Everything is super outdated and needs at least a "facelift". Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

$100 a night incidentals????

The Room itself was decent enough. The beds were comfortable and clean, the restroom was small and outdated, but overall the room was fine. My issue lies with the many "PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK" signs and the exterior being rather outdated and rundown. The area around the property was nice enough, but you could definitely tell that the shadier things could happen at the location. This is all being said because the booking site had a much nicer presentation. I felt VERY misled by the listing on the booking site. ALSO, there is a $100 incidental authorization that is not listed anywhere when booking.
