Staff was VERY friendly. Nice breakfast - all you need in the morning even had to go snack bags for the morning - if you don’t have time to sit and eat. Great hotel, great location to Wingate and pleasant staff.

Our stay was very good. For the price and location (just 1 mile from our son's apartment), we were very pleased. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the state of the property was quite good - and cleaner than we expected. We will definitely stay there again, whenever we visit our son. There is also tons of shopping and restaurants within less than a mile.

My first impression of the hotel was that it was not what I was expecting based on its advertisement. I’ll just say it looks a lot nicer in the pictures online. Entering the lobby sets the tone for what is to be expected from the rest of the hotel. The breakfast and friendliness of the staff was the best part of the experience. The bedding was unsightly, elevators were unclean, carpet in the rooms was kind of gross. Overall wasn’t the best, wouldn’t stay there again if it was up to me.

Upon booking my stay on Expedia for three nights at the Hampton Inn the picture showed several vending machines available for snacks and beverages. When I arrived at the hotel there are no vending machines. Just two shelves with a couple of bags of chips and on the bottom refrigerated sodas and juices. A 20 oz Coke was priced at $4. Disappointed that it was misleading. Overall decent place to stay in Monroe North Carolina.
