Lake Front Getaway, Family Friendly.

  • Enjoy the lake life and relax at Bally K, a cozy 3-bedroom cottage on a secluded 1.5-acre waterfront lot. 28 mins from downtown Charlotte, 5 minutes from I-77, in the gold zone for retail and amenities.

    This is a low-slope lot. Everybody gets easy access to the water. No steps to climb at the dock, no steps to climb to get home.

    Recently renovated with a new kitchen, hardwood floors, and new furnishings. Covered and screened-in porch with dining area. Open deck with great views of the lake.

    30' x 30' floating dock. Deepwater lot with 12' - 18' of water at the pier, depending on the season. (12' in winter) Covered gazebo located over the water to enjoy those Lake Norman sunsets.

    Get unlimited use of the 4 kayaks and the 2 stand-up paddleboards, all free with rental. Launch them from the dock or the sandy beach at the water's edge. Swim in the safe and protected private bay, no boat traffic, perfect for children of all ages.

    Bring your boat, and put it in at Haggar Creek public access. Navigate less than 1/2 a mile back to our pier, and tie it up in the private boat slip.

    Time Warner cable with Disney, Nick, Nick Jr, Boomerang, and all of the kid channels. Play Station, Wii, with lots of games. Great place for kids to enjoy their summer vacation.

    Free broadband WiFi

    10 min drive to Target, Best Buy, Sam's, Wall-Mart, Dick's, Belk's, and more. 10-minute drive to great food or take your boat to one of the many lakefront restaurants.

    The house is located in a residential neighborhood. At no time are parties or events permitted on the property.

The home was well laid out. We felt small with only 2 of us and 3 bedrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower had good pressure and multiple heads. View was amazing. Trips were easy to navigate.

Absolutely 10/10! Very nice place, from the hospitality and charming touches to peaceful location. We especially loved the screened in porch, fire pit, and gazebo on the dock. The hosts went above and beyond, providing their phone numbers in case we needed anything, fresh fruit and flowers, beach towels, life jackets, firewood for the fire pit, kayaks, and more. This place is so relaxing, we can't wait to return. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The cottage was perfect! Very clean and comfortable. It was so cozy that we felt like we were home! The lake property is amazing even though a cold front hit right when we got there. We had a fire in the fire pit that is located right by the water! We will definitely stay here again!

Lake Side Gem!

First time visiting Lake Norman with my family and found this gem of a property with everything you need for complete lakes side relaxation. We’ve been coming to Bally K cottage twice a year for past few years. It’s an easy, relaxing and quiet location. The owners are great to work with. Restaurants and grocery stores 10 mins away. Easy to check-in and out. Great access to the lake and dock fishing. Comfortable , home atmosphere. The grand kids come for a day and stay in the water the whole time. Paddle boards, kayaks and life vests are available. We will be back.

What a wonderful cozy place to stay! The lot has an amazing view of the water and the new dock was a wonderful place to stay, play, and dock the boat. We stayed for a week and made so many beautiful memories. Everything is even better in person! Shops, and restaurants are within 10-minute range. We walked in the morning and enjoyed the area. Kids loved to see deers walking in the forest. We would definitely stay again! Absolutely a gem!
