Hotel staff was helpful. Hotel was very well maintained and clean. For a quick weekend trip, it was perfect and a great location from our plans in uptown Charlotte. Our pocket door to the bathroom didn’t have a handle… but other than that, room was just fine!

Friendly staff and clean, but some noticeable drawbacks The staff at Sleep Inn Northlake were incredibly friendly and the property itself was kept very clean. However, there was a weird smell both when walking into the building and inside the room. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable, which detracted from the overall stay.

Overall, everything about our stay was fine, except for the pool. The pool was the main reason we chose to book and stay at this property. Unfortunately, it was never opened during our visit, which was very disappointing. It rained throughout the weekend, so having access to the pool would have made our stay much more enjoyable. We were really looking forward to using it, and not being able to do so took away from our overall experience, especially since it was one of the main reasons we paid to stay there.

Overall my room and the hotel was nice, and the staff that I did have interaction with were polite and friendly. The hotel itself is dated and could use freshing up. The area that the hotel is located was not that appealing driving up to check in.
