This cottage in Charente-Maritime is ideal for a quiet stay in the countryside, perfect for a couple looking for tranquility, nature and rejuvenation. Located in Chatenet, in the south-west of France, it offers a peaceful setting surrounded by greenery, hills and landscapes typical of the Charente countryside.

Its location is ideal for discovering the region: close to Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion and Cognac, as well as a reasonable distance from the Atlantic coast and its beaches. It is a perfect starting point to alternate relaxation in the countryside with cultural or seaside excursions.

This charming cottage allows you to enjoy a relaxing stay with access to a saltwater swimming pool and beautiful outdoor spaces conducive to relaxation.

For a wellness stay, we offer optional yoga and Pilates classes in the morning (all levels), as well as foot reflexology sessions for €40, ideal for promoting relaxation and letting go.

You can also enjoy products from our garden: seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh organic eggs from our hens, as well as homemade jams and pies prepared on site.

Two electric bikes are available to easily explore the surrounding countryside, the villages and natural landscapes around the estate.
