"We ended up booking this place to stay for the weekend but we didn't even check-in in the apartment. The street getting to this place is very rural and tight with no lights and we quickly realized that it would have been impossible for us to drive in and out of it easily at night. The street also doesn't seem to have any lights which makes it dangerous to drive in. "The room was clean but the bathroom is in need of a rehab. Looks to be all original fixtures and tile. Really showing its age. On our last night there, I ask at the front desk how much they would charge me for their cheap little plastic ice bucket. I needed to transport a few things ho.e that needed to be kept cold and did not have a cooler with me. I didn't want to just take it so I asked. The evening desk worker had no idea and called assistant manager who also couldn't answer and said they would need to check with the manager. We left at 7 AM the next morning without ever receiving an answer so I had to make due with some small bags with ice in them. I'm sure that if I would have stolen the bucket they would have come up with a cost quickly to charge my account! Over all the lodge was very quiet but the whole building is in need of updates."

"This is an older hotel, but it was very clean. They are doing some remodeling. I love the location, how it is tucked up in the bottom of the mountain. It is quiet and a beautiful location. The staff was very kind. I will definitely stay there again."

"The view from the 50 foot long screen porch is incredible and unmatched from any mountain trip we have had! The beautiful Lake, the sun shimmering on the lake, and the mountains behind the lake is so relaxing just sitting and enjoying it. The lights on the porch at night are awesome also. We grilled out, walked down to the lake, played board games, etc. It was nice having plenty of towels, blankets, and pots and pans in the kitchen & it is stocked with all the necessary stuff for cooking. Super close to anything you want to do out this way also .Only negative to us is the king bed in the master. It's very firm even though it is a memory foam type. It's not a standard bed set up. It just sits on a frame. It's loud every time hubby moves too."

"This cabin was beautiful- very spacious and well stocked with all the necessities. We were one of two families staying there and we had plenty of room - good layout with a master and secondary bedroom/bath downstairs. Upstairs had 2 bedrooms and a bath. Kitchen was spacious for visiting/cooking and the outdoor deck had a cute table and chairs that was perfect for our morning coffee. Beautiful craftsmanship throughout the cabin- my favorite was the front door- reminds me of the Princess Bride Definitely a steal of a deal with the price! 10/10 would recommend"
