“We stayed at Walnut Lodge from 22nd to 29th July 2025 while attending a wedding at a nearby château just 5 minutes away—and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The location was absolutely ideal, tucked away in a peaceful setting yet just 10 minutes from La Roche-Posay, home to an incredible spa, casino, and plenty of local shops and restaurants serving fantastic food.There’s also a lovely market held twice a week that’s well worth a visit.Our hosts, Lisa and Bryan, were exceptional from……

“The host very kindly allowed us to arrive after the final show at Futuroscope (so around 11:15pm). Was easy to contact him and got prompt replies. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable. I would note that you do need to take your own bedding and towels. The studio is also at the top of two steep stairways, so if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. For us a family of 5 it suited our needs perfectly and we would stay again. Thank you Sylvain.”

Les lits sont très confortables et tout était très propre. Nous avons également apprécié les petites attentions!La communication avec l’hôte était fluide. En bref, nous avons envie de revenir!”

“Nous avons séjourné deux semaines chez Joanne et James et avons passé de formidable vacance. Nos hôtes étaient au petit soin tout, toujours disponible et d’une grande gentillesse.Très professionnel la maison était comme décrite dans l’annonce avec à notre arrivée des attentions particulièrement apprécié par notre famille et nos deux chiens.
