As soon as we drove down the drive, I fell in love with this Country House hotel & the grounds. We were welcommed immediately & looked after through out our stay. Location was perfect for A12, also to walk into the village was an option. The menu was excellant.

A lovely hotel with good facilities. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools. Food was excellent, including a lovely afternoon tea. One thing to note is that the café attached to the swimming pools is not affiliated to the hotel so food purchased from therecannot be charged to the room.

Evening menu poor. Breakfast fine when eventually received but waited half an hour after giving order for just two eggs and hash browns. Two tables that had arrived after us were served and left the room before us. Beautiful hotel and staff in every respect but food let it down most unfortunately

We stayed here last weekend to celebrate my mum’s 65th birthday and had such a lovely time. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and all the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. I had emailed beforehand to mention that we were visiting for my mum’s special birthday, so I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a card or small acknowledgement in the room. We’d also booked a table in the restaurant for her birthday dinner, but unfortunately the booking hadn’t made it onto the system. However, everything worked out perfectly in the end! We ended up having the restaurant to ourselves, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff made the evening really lovely. They also brought out a beautiful birthday plate for my mum, which was such a nice touch and made her feel special. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and made some lovely memories celebrating my mum’s 65th. We would definitely stay again. ❤️

My mum and me had a wonderful stay at Pontlands Hotel. The staff are very friendly. The bedroom was nice and beds were comfortable. We had a good view out of our window and we were both very happy with the room. Breakfast was fantastic. The spa was great and made our trip. Also the restaurants in the hotel did fabulous food. There was a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and would highly recommend. The parking is quite full when the spa is open but there is extra parking round the back near a children’s nursery as additional parking. After 6 pm at night the parking is much better. It is is great that you get to can use the spa when you are staying at the hotel. We had a lovely long weekend away.
