The front desk clerk was very friendly and informative at check in. Our room was clean. We did not have breakfast there but I did see your basic continental menu. We came in for graduation at WCU. It’s a short drive to the campus. There is a Food Lion beside the hotel. Fast food options close by also. Near the casino also. I would stay again when in the area.

The property needs updating. Negative- carpet was dingy, the bed was too firm, mirrors on whole back wall behind bed/in front of bed on the wall, and couple of cats in small eating area. Good things - free parking, free tea/coffree, and friendly staff.

Adequate at best. Location is best feature. Skip the breakfast. The building feels old and tired. I did like what appeared to be a fairly recent paint upgrade to a pretty aubergine purple. Our room was small. The bathroom had several cracked floor tiles. The wall had unpatched holes next to where the dryer was mounted. The sink stopper was missing and you could see the black grime buildup in the drain. The ceiling exhaust fan had a lot of dirt and dust. The bed area was in better shape. Overall I would say it was adequate. A place to store your stuff while you are out. Really, the best feature is Location. You can walk to several fast food restaurants. And you are next to a grocery store center. This one will be on my list, but near the bottom. Other hotels in the area much nicer
