I love this place. I only stayed for one night. My dogs and I walked down to the creek, it's beautiful. I'll be back it is my place to stay when I come into town.

The river view was nice, but room hasn't been updated since the mid-90's. Everything was worn and shabby. The front door hits the bathroom door, and the sink is in the entryway closet area. The noise from the room above is noticeable. There was a pile of construction materials in front of our door we had to step around. That said, the location near the entrance to Great Smokies was good, so this was a decent stopover for one night.

Was nice being on the river with a small sitting area outside. Super nice family staff. That being said, no bath towels in the room and had to ask, no tv remote in the room and had to ask, there was almost an inch gap on the hinge side of the door which let in light and noise, and finally, there were no disposable cups in the room and no coffee maker. You would think they would have these issues fixed since it was as slow as it was.

We love this spot. Next to the water so if me or my son wants to return to the room and take nap, the other can continue fishing out back. Nice people. Not sure if the ice machine has been repaired but the store is just next door. Can sit outside on the patio and see the river. Peaceful

This is a very clean and well managed motel, yes the rooms are somewhat dated but most of us are also, having a small outdoor sitting area facing the river was a huge sell, the staff was friendly and check in was a breeze, the staff answered all questions and was very nice. The younger crowd may not appreciate the nostalgia of this establishment but the older crowd will appreciate the memories this place reminds them of . I highly recommend this motel
