The river view is stunning! We enjoyed strolling along the river a lot! The restaurant is very homely and cosy. Overall nice environment with convenient parking and staff was friendly

It isn’t a large hotel which makes it much more personable. Beautiful spacious rooms, especially the ones over looking the river with Juliet balcony, where you can watch the ducks & swans- all very idyllic. Staff are helpful & always available. Downstairs gives plenty of traditional country style pub vibes. If you are looking for an upmarket place to relax & chill out, this is the place to be. A major plus is the free on site parking. There is a 2 tier parking area next to hotel. Only issue was when they were very busy ( non residents use it in the evening, enjoying the terrace & conservatory overlooking the river) then the younger staff members struggled to manage orders. Would definitely return as the atmosphere, quality of service & food far out weighed any slight disadvantages. Good for transport links around London & lovely local countryside.

Had a good stay at the hotel, excellent staff and the room was ideal for our needs. Let down a lot by some terrible food on the first day - initially unable to order food at lunch despite being a guest. I understand they had a function but perhaps just letting guests know so they could either order before or make alternate arrangements. Then when we did order at dinner - food took 1 hour and when chased came immediately and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time as was dry and inedible. Breakfast good each morning. So staff and venue great - food - perhaps we hit a bad day!

A smashing hotel. Lovely decor, well kept and clean. The breakfasts were tasty and generous. The staff went out of their way to be kind and friendly. A great stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Best Hotel in UK with charm and service

This is the best hotel I have stayed at in the UK!! It has everything you want, plus amazing charm! It is fully updated and renovated, the pub is super clean, the room has every amenity you could think of including a nice nespresso maker, the area is stunning next to the river, the food is ace…I wish my entire London stay could have been at The Bridge!!!

We were given an un-requested handicap accessible room and the bathroom was terrible. It was a shower room with one drain in the middle of the room. The water went everywhere! My slippers got soaked as did the floor mat. The sink and mirror were too low. The lighting was dim (not good for a man to shave by). Had I realized before we had settled in, I would have asked to change rooms. Additionally, the walls were not thick enough to block out the hallway noise of people talking and doors banging. The pub and food were good. If we had a normal room in a quieter section of the hotel, we would stay there again.
