Great place

Host was very receptive to any damages that needed fixing, beds were comfy and clean, and kitchen is wonderful!

Nice base for family visit and Chicago day trip

Our extended family was coming to Carol Stream to visit a new baby in the family and this house was a nice base for those of us visiting from out of town. We were mostly hanging out near Carol Stream, but did do one day trip into Chicago for the tourist sites. The house seems to be in transition with some rooms having been recently updated and others still in process. In particular the kitchen cabinets and drawers were needing some work. Overall it was in a quiet neighborhood and worked great for our needs.

Wedding Stay

Rented the home for my sons wedding. Had a great stay. Wish the listing would have said how many bedrooms were upstairs or downstairs. 1 bedroom only downstairs and 1 half bath downstairs. Made it hard for older family that cant do stairs to shower. Also you have to go through a bedroom to get to another. Kitchen had some items but nothing big enough to cook for the amount of people it will accomodate. Also towels not enough for amount of people staying but owner did rectify. Would suggest a welcome book with wifi password, instructions for fireplace, trash collection schedule, local deliveries, checkout instructions, etc. Overall satisfied. Very clean.

Greta house for a large group as we were staying for a wedding. Managed to sleep 14 of us. Host was very friendly and communicative and took care of any issues. We had cars so it was easy to get around. The reserve nearby is a nice walk. Would recommend for large groups.

Ideal large family environment

This place was great for 9 adults and 5 children 3 through 10 years old. Comfortable sleeping areas for all. There were 2 large lounging areas that the children who would wake up early could watch TV in a cozy environment. There was a pleasant playground around the corner for kids to release their energy. There were extra lightweight chairs in the garage to add to the existing large tables as needed. This home was large enough that everyone had space. It met all our needs!
