“Thisplace beat my expectations. I had to stay one night because I was flying home the next day and I did not want to have to drive 3 1/2 hours before my flight. It was the perfect set up. Whoever thought out of all the great details knows what they're doing!! really would like to know what mattress that is because that is one of the best mattresses I've ever stayed in. My only disappointment was there was one really flat pillow and the other pillows were really thick but still had a great night……

Staff, from check in as well as kitchen staff were super welcoming, I'll stay here my next visti out west as a staging hotel before or after visiting the park”

“Great View”

“We’ve stayed here many times to the point where I’ve lost track. It rained for most of the time but we soaked at Chico and also had a wonderful meal at their dining room. We watched movies and read a lot. We also prepared our own meals using the fully stocked kitchen. A new addition was the the wifi, which I was grateful for as I was able to monitor my home and greenhouse remotely. Had it been nicer weather, we would have hiked up to Emigrant Creek Falls. We’ve also taken our bikes several times……

“We just stayed overnight, but it served our purpose very well and would like to return. It is very close to Chico which is where we spent most of our time. But there are restaurants and a convenience/grocery store within walking distance. Clean and cozy place to stay. Lots of glasses, plates etc.”

“I took my 82yr old Father out west to visit Yelowstone for the first time. Instead of the hotel route, we decided to try something different, a house in the mountains. Everything was perfect and described accurately. Waking up with that view was absolutely breath taking. Would definitely recommend.”

“It's a nice property, very reactive hosts. Vicky was kind enough to lend me a cast iron pan for my cooking- managed a 6 course tasting menu for 2 with the few things I had! She also got me a knife sharpener to use! I could slice tomatoes again! I would suggest getting a couple cheap plastic or wood cutting boards, because those glass boards are awful on knives. My only complaint is that when I set my filters for searching for the kind of properties we like, I had "hot tub" as something we wew……

“Thank you for a great stay! My daughter was playing music at The Old Saloon on Friday May 10th and the cabins were a perfect place to spend the night - so close and convenient. There was a hatch of May flies which was spectacular but nothing will even come close to the light show we saw after midnight when the Northern Lights did their thing. Thanks for an amazing stay - we’ll be back!”
