"Our room on the top floor was very large and had a distant view of the water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. The only possible down side is the rough road to reach Cumbres de Chiloé. Be sure your car has ample under carriage clearance."

"It’s easy to get lost finding this hotel as it goes by 2 different names: Panamericana and Ancud, and neither is written on the building. That might explain why there were very few people staying there. Our room was tiny even though we paid more through Hotels.com than the hotel charged. Be sure to request an even numbered room which will be larger. The restaurant food was tasteless, but a 15 minute walk away is Restaurante La Pincoya which serves delicious, ample-sized, and affordable meals, including vegetarian choices. Good service, friendly staff. Too bad the same can’t be said for Hotel Panamericana/Ancud. "
