“The Barahi jungle Lodge is a beautiful place, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in Chitwan! A few highlights: -Their commitment to sustainability is exceptional. For example, most of the food is grown on site, and they've effectively done away with single use plastic - The service!! This is old school hospitality. Anything you need at all, someone is ready to help. They surprised us with a complimentary bush dinner one evening (such a cool experience, would recommend)……

“Tiger Tops Elephant Camp was amazing. Walking through the jungle with the elephants and getting up. Lose and personal with them was an unforgettable experience. We saw rhinoceros on the Jeep Safari. I would highly recommend this experience.”

“This is a top-notch property with great amenities and things to do. We had a wonderful village tour and two nature walks with Kamal Adhikari, the guide at the lodge. He is so knowledgeable and does an excellent job. We also went to the Locals Cultural dance which was very entertaining and so well performed. Mr. Adhikari participated in that as well. Our room was great, the food delicious and well prepared. On arrival you receive a wet towel and a welcome drink, even when you return from village……

“價格確實很實惠，但房間的熱水不熱 反應過後，老闆說等久一點，但還是一樣 十二月份去的，所以冷到兩天都不敢洗澡 老闆會慫恿房客先訂餐點，說是要預先準備避免影響行程 但第一天早上餐點有缺少東西，第二天則是等了很久，讓準備搭巴士離開的我們挺緊張的 房間就很簡單”

“This hotel is excellent in condition, we stayed in a family room, the bathroom was one of the biggest if compared to other properties. The breakfast was satisfactory, not many options for the vegetarians, but not bad either. Their lunch and dinner menu is a bit expensive than the Restaurants outside. The trips they organise are expensive. Rather book your own trips directly with the Tour agents in the market which is within the 1000 metre radius. Sikharam, the Front Office Manager was……

“Mi è piaciuta molto la zona delle camere, un po faticose da raggiungere causa i tanti scalini, ma almeno isolata dai rumori della strada. C'era anche una grande piscina.Per pranzo il ristorante dava il buffet ad un ottimo prezzo. Ottimo il servizio di navetta gratuito offerto per raggiungere ila funivia del tempio Manakamana. Non ho apprezzato molto la receptionist, che non è stata molto gentile... La posizione dell 'hotel comunque non è lungo il fiume ma dalla parte opposta della strada.”

“Overall property was pretty good with garden area and outside dining. Food was acceptable. Off the main road and so less dust and traffic noise. Fan and AC unit worked. Room not as clean as it should be. Main problem, they had screen doors on each room which made a loud banging noise every time they were closed. With about 20 rooms that can make for a lot of unpleasant noise especially at all hours of the night. Also lots of people were smoking in all of the nice outside areas, not in the rooms……

“Perfect location in chitwan for accessing the national park and river. 10minute walk to the shops and restaurants although we ate at the lodge a few times as this was ideal. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and very helpful. They arranged us a walking safari with a very experienced local guide, just me my partner and another guide (i highly recommended this small group/personal option, a lot of the other groups we encountered were larger). “Our Stay at the Jungle Sunset Camp was a real good surprise! The Hotel is on the river, very quiet, but still walking distance to the main street of Sauraha (not so big). The room is quite nice, spacious and clean. The bed is indeed slightly hard, but that's our preference, so we slept super well. There is hot water in the shower (not that common in Nepal). The real good surprise came from the staff, super friendly, and the food, remarkably good. Actually it's the best food we've had in……

“Not too exciting, there was no one at reception or to help with the luggage when we arrive. Staff not too excited to serve guests. Our driver and guide had issues with their accommodation, they were asked to pay for that. Nothing much to see in surrounding as well. ”
