Cannot say enough good things. Beautiful grounds, helpful staff, solid restaurant, even the wine and olive oil they make on site is good. Pro tip: book one of the two freestanding villas. You get two floors and your own private terrace where they’ll set up a table for dinner for you if you like.

A Beautiful Hidden Gem in Tuscany Poggio Piglia is a beautiful small hotel set amongst olive groves and vineyards, with plenty of parking and the most peaceful surroundings. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff and manager provided exceptional one-to-one service. Their attention to detail was brilliant, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Because it is a small hotel, you receive such personal care and attention it genuinely feels like a home away from home. The swimming pool is lovely and spacious, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds overlooking the vineyards. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside. And the breakfast is absolutely fantastic — fresh, plentiful and beautifully presented. What really makes Poggio Piglia special is the combination of its beautiful setting, peaceful atmosphere and wonderful personal service. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Poggio Piglia to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Tuscan experience.

Poggio Piglia exceeded all expectations — the room was beautifully appointed, the pool serene and surrounded by stunning views, and the entire atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The staff were wonderful throughout, with a special shout-out to Sergio, who made our experience even more memorable. A truly special place — we’ll definitely be back.

This is the hidden gem of Tuscany. We added this resort for a short stay and I wished we had stayed longer. It was absolutely amazing. The grounds were so well maintained and the hotel is spotless. A+++. The team and family who ran the resort were extremely helpful and were always available to help out. The pool and pool bar were always ooen and provided great drinks and snacks. The view from the resort is tough to beat. Every view and angle showed a picturesque view that almost seemed to good to be true. Do not hesitate to stay here for an extended stay if you want the beauty of Tuscany without the crowds or higher rates. 100% peace and tranquility with top notch service. The restaurant is very good too! I highly recommend this resort. Don’t hesitate it. It is 100% worth every penny. A++++. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back .

Beautiful pool and surroundings. Expected a lot more for the price we paid. Breakfast staff was super unfriendly and we waited 30 minutes for our coffee. Rooms are a little bit outdated. €15 for an aperitivo at the pool bar is just too much.

We thought the property itself was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was great and we loved the quiet atmosphere it brought to us. We do have a few complaints regarding the room. Not very happy about the private villa we stayed in. It had a bad smell like basement and there small bugs in there. Also no windows. Also we had to cancel one of our stay and we did not receive a refund which was disappointing.

Very friendly staff, but execution a bit lacking

The property is very nice, however the level of service could be improved. Breakfast was always somewhat poorly managed. They often did not have plates available, or they were out of certain items and did not appear aware. Tables were left uncleaned for a while after the diners left. They did respond quickly to requests, but many of these issues could have easily been addressed beforehand. The room was nice, but coudl have used a little more maintainace (plumbing slow to drain, toilet paper holder loose, a few floorboards coming up). Internet was very spotty and was non-functional most of the time.

Luxo na TOSCANA

Espetacular!!!!!

Fantastic!

Breathtaking when we drove into hotel property. Warm and friendly welcoming from the reception and staffs. The design of the hotel is outstanding, modern and classic at the same time. We love our room and the view from breakfast is fantastic. Didn’t have the weather for the swimming pool but the view is amazing by the pool. We will stay here again when we visit again. Strongly recommend this hotel for other travelers.
