“Very good location with beautiful river view! All the staffs are friendly with smiles. Although there were always big groups of tourists but we’ve been treated well at breakfast and dinner though we were just 2 of us. But the problem was the maintenance. After soaking in the bath just after 9 pm, I tried to have a shower but no hot water came out. No matter how long I waited, nothing happened, so I tried to ring reception—only to find that the telephone cable had come loose and I couldn’t get……

“Fantastic place location and staff … I do recommend”

“ottima struttura, migliorabile il servizio. Colazione a buffet buona, cena pessima.”

“Wonderful experience! Staff was tremendous and made me feel welcome. Nice view of the river from the room. Breakfast was good as well.”

“It was a great stay! Loved the breakfast spread. Also the staff were always so helpful even with organising for Safaris etc, that was a plus and I loved that it was quiet and clean. I will be sure to recommend and also come again.”

“This Lodge is amazing. Very, very friendly. Very, very clean. Helped with everything that we needed. Highly recommend this place to everyone. ”

“Wir wurden vom gesamten Personal überaus herzlich empfangen und begleitet. Die Zimmer waren sehr komfortabel, sauber und geräumig, die Betten sehr bequen. Ausflüge für uns wurden perfekt organisiert. Das Einchecken übers Handy ist etwas aufwendig und es wäre wünschenswert, wenn alle auf der Speisekarte angebotenen Speisen Recht konstant da wären.”

“sehr gutes Personal, freundliche Leute. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Distans zum Chobe Park ist zu weit.”

“Hotel is about 15 minute drive to Chobe National Park and to cruise. The Lodge itself is very basic. The maintenance staffs are very attentive and try very hard to make guests comfortable. The sunset cruise is must. Boat operator and guide Sha is so skillful and sensitive. He explains many insightful knowledges on wildlife. He always knows where wildlife are: yawning hippos, fighting crocodiles and lizards, heard of swimming elephants, rare Cape buffalo, birds, hundreds water lilies and……

“As the name suggests, this was a rustic stay. I oftern like staying at unique place and this was that. Its right on the Chobe River and the tours leave from there which is convenient. Restaurant was good. Food delicious but took forever to come to the table. We were told to be careful as wild animals would roam arounf at tnoght and they had a gate to separate the rooms from the river. We did see a wart hog/pumba. The rooms were small but clean. Staff was helpful”

“We stayed here for 3 nights and were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is ideally located for visiting Chobe National Park on your own as it is only a few minutes’ drive from the gate. The staff are well trained, very friendly and extremely helpful. This hotel is next to a petrol station and supermarket. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can enjoy good food at a great price. If you prefer not to arrange individual excursions yourself, they……

“Nice property and very friendly staff. They went above and beyond. The food was great too. ”

“The staff was friendly, responsive and extremely helpful.”

“Der öffentliche Bereich ist etwas angewöhnt, die Toiletten unsauber, aber die Anlage wird gerade renoviert. Die Lage der Bungalows an Fluss ist toll, die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Bungalows sehr gut. Frühstück und Abendessen waren ebenfalls sehr gut, so dass insgesamt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend ist.”
