"The hotel does not accept credit cards. I didn’t know until I arrived. We went inside the Inn and tracked down an employee who checked us in. Thank goodness we had a checkbook in the car. You are suppose to text check in but I never saw the text. Very confusing. "

"Parking was great, kitchen had the basics and we had no issues cooking. Bed was comfy and the AC worked beautifully. The view was spectacular! The only thing I missed was a hair dryer as I forgot to travel with one."

"Communication before our arrival was good. However, when we got there, the owner mentioned there was a key for the cabinet, but it didn’t work, so we were unable to lock the door, which did not feel safe.Then we went shopping for supplies for that week and settled in that evening. Then things started going bad. The first toilet in the main cabin wouldn't flush, couldn't use it, then the second toilet stopped working, the water was at the rim, my husband spent hours trying to improve it so we could use the bathroom, which we only peed, no #2's at this property!. So we had to leave the property to go find a bathroom, and it was late, and the nearest bathroom was far. Came back, attempted to sleep, then the air conditioner stopped working in the main cabin. It attempted to cycle on and off every few minutes, so we turned it off so it wouldn't burn out, and the cabin became very warm. My husband was up all night trying to fix the toilets. And moldy smells were coming from the AC. The next morning, after not sleeping and having nowhere to use the bathroom, we packed up to get out of there. We contacted the owner to explain the situation and let him know we were relocating. He was initially apologetic and said he would submit a refund, so we thought the matter was resolved. However, he later became defensive and accused us of trying to get out of the rental and said, “Karma is a ...........”"

"The host was responsive and the place was very clean and cute. Just enough space for what we needed. The bed was very comfortable as well. We would stay again, but a few notes for the host. The futon is very small and not very comfortable. There are only 3 small plates and we needed larger ones. The AC stopped running a few times and it got stuffy and warm, not sure if we didn't run it correctly or if there is an issue. And the patio out back had no shade like the picture showed. And the shower floor felt unstable and when you flushed the toilet the shower and sink gurgled. And some of one of the outlets behind the TV in the bedroom didn't work and the remote for that tv didn't work. Overall we had a great time and would stay again. Thanks for hosting us. "
