"What a lovely bed and breakfast. It is on the historical registry and so beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding! I very much enjoyed a tour of the home given to us by an entertaining and knowledgeable hostess. I would love to stay there again."

"Check in was super easy with a lockbox to open main door and another to open our room. We received the email with all of the instructions shortly after booking. Room was clean and bed super comfy. House was quiet. The main house is .03 miles away- easy 5 minute walk. We did go down to have a glass of wine at 5 and get recommendations for restaurants. Several restaurant options within walking distance. We also went to several of the historic sites and the mural wall (must see)! Breakfast was outstanding! 3 courses started with a bowl of fruit and homemade biscuit drizzled with honey then a bowl of cheese grits with egg, steak and gravy - delicious! Last course we had pound cake with fresh strawberries and cool whip with chocolate sprinkles! The taste and presentation was amazing and the staff so attentive! We enjoyed our stay and would stay again! Highly recommend!"

"Everything was very nice. Clean,met the vrbo host Reny and his wife very nice very friendly. Minor glitches such as I didnt recieve the opening instructions. The ac worked once we figure it out. More on us not on the vrbo owners. If you are a history buff this is a great place to stay abd explore the cementsries of the civil war and all the military artifacts in the area. Vicksburg downtown is very cute"

"We really enjoyed the house . We had plenty of room for everyone and the view was great! There were only a couple things I would consider a downside. 1 being that it wasn’t that clear to me how inaccessible the water was from the property. The pictures made it seem as though the grass led right down to the water. Second, the next door neighbor, although he was a very nice man whom I spoke with, had a dog that apparently doesn’t like guests and would bark constantly anytime it was outside. I was even asked that should he need to let the dog out to use the bathroom that we go inside until he put it back in. Another thing was that there was a considerable amount of hair on the wall of the master shower, lastly, the back burner on the stove is not lighting past the low setting and the front left burner would not light at all. All in all these were just a few minor inconveniences and overall everything was perfect and we loved the home."
