「I think this is probably the best place to stay for most travelers in Douz Very well maintained. Rooms are quite reasonable. Nice to have dinner and breakfast included in the price. The pool was very nice. Staff very friendly. Parking right on site.」

「Unforgettable experience in the Sahara in all its glory under the stars but with all the amenities you would need. Dinner comes with a traditional folk and dance followed by the acrobatics on the horses and then a showcase on traditional breadmaking in the sands. Tent is massive and has power. Place is a bit tricky to if you rely on google maps as it'll take you through the more "scenic" paths but its all in the experience!」

「Pretty much every hotel in Tunisia is rundown and older. This one is clean, but in general facilities are not very good. Pool was nice, but no staff available to help with towels and no one taking orders for drinks which I finally ridiculous for a supposedly five star hotel. Also, any five star hotel should have wireless in the room rooms in this room does not. There is wireless in the reception area. Large buffet, but really for the size of it. Food was not all that great. Location is good....

「The pool was freezing cold. The space in the room was super small and there was hardly any lights. The shower water was only slightly warm. The room needs some serious maintenance: door was squeaky and near breaking. Some of the walls plaster was coming off. Finally the Dar was really hard to find, hidden in a dark corner of the medina with no signs outside. The dar overall is nice but the rooms are overcharged for what you get. Breakfast is the same as usual across Tunisia. 」
