Bougainvillea Barbados

"We had a wonderful time at Bougainvillea Hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful, efficient. The staff sends you updates and communicate with you in a timely basis. The property is amazing, well maintained. Housekeeping is friendly and hardworking. Location is great!"

Pirate's Inn
8/10 Good
"The property is a bit old-fashioned but has everything you need. Rooms are well-kept and spacious. The balcony gives a nice outdoor feel. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is close to several restaurants and a small mall. The staff were helpful and I had no issues during my stay."

Rostrevor Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great Location, near all the action on the St. Lawrence Gap. Staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Hotel rooms could use an update but they were clean and had everything you need. The room had great air conditioning and a small kitchenette. Would absolutely stay there again."

The Abidah by Accra - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"I recently stayed at The Abidah by Accra. While the property itself is wonderful, the experience was unfortunately dampened by the customer service. First, the housekeeping staff was exceptional. Our maid cleaned the suite to absolute perfection, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, the rest of the hospitality experience fell short. Throughout our stay, most employees we encountered lacked warmth, rarely offering a greeting or a smile. This indifferent attitude extended to the restaurant, where service felt transactional with no effort to go above and beyond. Furthermore, walking through the lobby often felt unprofessional; staff members were frequently seen sitting together chatting or looking at their cell phones rather than focusing on guests. The Abidah is a beautiful hotel with immense potential, but the staff's lack of engagement holds it back from being the elite experience it could be. I hope management invests in customer service training, as this great property deserves a team that matches its physical quality."

Hotel Le Roy
8/10 Good
"Hotel was pretty decent. Clean and maintained well. There was so much seaweed on the beach and in the water we could not swim there. That was a big bummer. We had to take the bus every day to go to Savy on the bay. That was our favorite spot. Food was delicious but very expensive. Bar area was very nice. Location was good. Close to restaurants and shops. Pool was so small that was a bummer too since we couldn’t swim in the sea would have been nice to use the pool. Hardly anyone was in it. Staff was absolutely fantastic. So helpful with everything we needed. Thank you Norissa for all your help."

Hotel Indigo Bridgetown Barbados by IHG
8/10 Good
"We recently stayed here on our visit to Barbados for a week. The hotel is still brand new so it is nice. Very conveniently located and within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Would have given the hotel all 5 stars, but we ran into a few issues with our rooms. The check in process was quick, easy and the staff are some of the nicest people we have met. The first night was fine with no issues, however we ended up running into several issues with the key card reader to our room. We really liked the room we got, but they ended up having to move us to another room since they couldn't fix the door/key card reader. Wasn't much fun having to pack our stuff up again and move rooms, but we stayed positive about it. The second room ended up having it's own issues, as the sensors for the lights must be set at 45 seconds before all of the lights shut off and leave you in the dark (I counted). You could use lights that were not connected to sensors; however it was a pain with the lights going on and off very frequently. It seems that this hotel being brand new still has a few electrical issues to work out, but overall it is a very nice hotel and we had a great view no matter what!"
