"Location, funicular was excellent."

"Would not hesitate to stay here again. Not directly on the beach, but only a very short walk. I received a lovely warm welcome, and the room was just lovely. It had a very nicely furnished balcony, and a slight view of the ocean. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. I had a small refrigerator, and a room safe. There was also a dryer and the basic bath soaps etc provided. The bed was comfortable, the only thing being that it seems that they use a plastic bed cover to protect their mattresses under their sheets, and that felt a bit uncomfortable, but really glad they use one! The linens were very nice....nice thick bath towels. I did not partake in the breakfasts during my stay, but I did see the buffet, and it looked like they provided a very nice continental breakfast. Everyone there was so friendly and nice. No question or request was left unaddressed. A perfect stay!"

"Die Lage dieser Wohnung ist fantastisch! Im Herzen des mittelalterlichen Dorfs Forza d‘Agro wohnt man im historischen Ortskern in einem mittelalterlichen, jedoch schön und modern renovierten Haus. Die Wohnung erstreckt sich über drei Etagen. Unten befindet sich ein Raum mit bequemen und breiten Klappbett und ein Duschbad. In der Mitte sind Wohnzimmer mit großer Klappcouch und Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, oben ist die moderne Küche mit Sitzgelegenheit für und ein weiteres Duschbad, Das Highlight ist die große, möblierte Terrasse auf dem Dach. Sie ist über eine Außentreppe erreichbar. Die Aussicht über das Dorf und die Küste fantastisch. Zur anderen Seite sieht man, etwas eingeschränkt, den Etna. Dem authentischen Leben im historischen Bergdorf sind jedoch auch ein paar „Unwegsamkeiten“ geschuldet. Die Etagen sind über eine sehr enge und steile Wendeltreppe verbunden. Außerdem hat das Gemäuer in der unteren Etage eine gewisse Grundfeuchtigkeit. Weiterhin sind die Bäder sehr eng und beim Benutzen der Dusche ist es, trotz des sehr niedrigen Wasserdrucks kaum möglich, nicht das komplette Bad „unter Wasser“ zu setzen, da die Duschabtrennung (baulich bedingt) viel zu klein ist. Außerdem kam es, vielleicht auch feuchtigkeitsbedingt, immer wieder dazu, dass die Sicherungen des Hausstroms auslösten, ohne ersichtlichen Grund und vor Allem im Untergeschoss. Besitzer Anton war per WhatsApp sehr gut zu erreichen und war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen sicher wieder."

"Enjoyed the stay once we settled in. Location of property on Google Maps is not the same as the actual location (thankfully)...not the most scenic area leading to the property. Pictures of the home on VRBO appear to represent property when staged... could use a little more TLC. Very roomy and mostly well kept. Very nice pool lounges and excellent view from pool and balconies. Very short drive to grocery shopping (but tight streets). Short distance to Taormina. "

"Beautiful house, perfect location just a 1 min walk to the free beach with the option of paying for a sunbed or more luxurious beds just further down the beach. Cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. with parks and piaza all with plenty of space for children to play in.Messina is a 40 minute drive and Taormina a 10 min drive to the carparks.House itself is very spacious with a lovely outdoor area not overlooked and perfect for outdoor dining.Carmen was a great host very knowledgeable about the local area and only a message away if we needed her. Also having a parking space was a much needed bonus!Would definitely visit again "

"Really good location. I liked the style of the B&B, nice shower. We particularly liked the top floor seating area available to use and look out over the beach and town. The breakfast was lovely, buffet style and great coffee made to order, and special mention to the polenta cake. Host went out of her way to be helpful and friendly. Comms were great. Would recommend the b&b and the town generally."

"We were offered a free upgrade and the room was very good although the bathroom did require an upgrade. Not many facilities within the Hotel it needed a bar, the only bar was a beach bar opposite the hotel which was ok unless it wasn’t booked for private hire or closed due to bad weather (there was a bad storm when we were there). "
