"Jättetrevlig upplevelse. En stor gård ute på landsbygden. Lite svårt att hitta dit. Super trevlig värd. Vi kommunicerade via Google eftersom han inte kunde Engelska, men det gick jättebra. Åt en härlig fransk middag på gården. Enda negativa var lite hårda kuddar annars bra för någon natt. Lite annorlunda. Mycket värt att åka dit."

"This is a very nice, well-kept property. The room was very nice, and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. There are potentially a lot of steps up and down on the property to get to one's room, so handicapped persons might experience some difficulty. The immediate area around the hotel is quiet, so moving one's car to load and unload luggage wasn't a problem, but the parking lot is small and down the hill from the hotel. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food was good."

"We loved the space and tranquility, but with walking access to activities and restaurants. The manor was beautifully restored with high quality accomodation and excellent breakfasts ( a packed lunch on request was great too.) Our hosts were very friendly and happy to help with any request. A lovely stay and we want to return again soon. "

"We had a lovely week in this gite in Le Chenai. Jenny was so welcoming and helpful - the bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Jenny's recommendations; particular favourites were le Mont de Cerisy, a ruined chateau with lovely walks (and an amazing display of rhododendrons) and Chateau Ganne a ruined Norman fortress. It was also a perfect base for exploring DDay history and our dog approved of the local walks too. Sally, John & Bailey x"

"Le logement est très spacieux pour 4 et au calme. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et répond rapidement. Il peut également se déplacer sur place en cas de besoin. Je recommande ce logement."

"Puisqu’il n’y a pas d’ascenseur pour monter vos bagages, vous empruntez l’escalier lourdement chargé d’odeurs de cuisine, puis vient la chambre où cette fois vous êtes accueillis par une odeur d’égout. Si vous aimez les séjours olfactifs vous serez gâtés. Enfin, la douche vous assure un passage sans transition du chaud au froid, et n’implorez pas le ciel en espérant de l’eau tiède car en levant les yeux vous découvririez un plafond moisi! Dommage, car le personnel est agréable et l’effort...

"Good property, typically French rural. Kitchen is rather small and needed cleaning when we arrived. We stayed at the hottest partof the summer and it was difficult to cool upstairs as windows are only on one side of the building."

"Bon accueil, mais le jardin est dorénavant à moitié tronqué pour la construction d'un nouveau gîte, ce que les photos ne précisent toujours pas. Sans que nous soyons informés, nous avons donc eu un extérieur réduit de moitié et laissé à l'abandon en terme d'entretien, avec un chantier comme entrée de gîte. Le ménage laissait également à désirer (miettes, moutons, moisissure dans la douche... frigo et intérieur des meubles sales : 2h de menage en arrivant pour rendre cela acceptable apres 980 kms...
