The property itself is beautiful — the infrastructure is gorgeous, the staff are extremely friendly, the amenities are genuinely useful, and the restaurant is outstanding. The hotel sits outside the small towns of Puglia rather than inside one of them, so you'll need a car to get around. Honestly, though, I think that's the best way to experience the region — staying in one of the small towns means very limited availability, whereas a hotel like this puts you……

“Dont get distracted by the pictures. They are staged. The house from the outside is nice But… the classic room is just like a time ride in the Middle Ages. Pool beds are almost broken, wheel lose, pillows ripped off. Wonder if there is shower curtains still in hotel - yes you will find them here. The walls need to be painted, lot of scratches. 4 stars - I don’t know. Better choose a Masseria. At the pool the bar always is abandoned. The cleaning hose just thrown in a corner. Not very……

“The experience to be in a beautiful Borgo like San Marco, surrounded by the plantation of olive trees are unique. This Hotel is perfect to move around the towns of Puglia and the place is very beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and the service very friendly. I would recommend to improve the kitchen specially for breakfast. But definitely it’s a place that worth to stay!”

“The property was very clean and well maintained, and interspersed amongst apartment units of residents who live in Locorotondo. These properties are all configured differently as our friends were in a different unit and it was configured in a much better layout. The stairs in our unit were very steep and narrow, with a low bulkhead -my husband hit his head several times when coming down the steps. At the end of the hallway in our unit, was a full length mirror propped against the wall and……

“Superbe Masseria au milieu des oliviers. Séjour au calme et apaisant. Une superbe piscine , un excellent petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux et un accueil chaleureux. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour et avons vraiment apprécié le site. Le seul point que nous souhaitons relever est l’horaire du petit déjeuner. Nous aurions souhaité pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner à partir de 7h30 ( au lieu de de 8h30). Sinon rien à redire, tout était parfait. En conclusion, nous recommandons vraiment……

“Nyrenoverat o vackert inrett Boende med trevlig trädgård och parkering alldeles intill gamla staden. Utmärkt frukostbuffé. Enda problemet var att Hotels.com hade angivit kl 15 som check-in och kl 11 som check-out. Korrekt var kl 16 och kl 10 vilket gav oss vissa problem.”
