“The property is in a central location in the town of Dungog. Next to a supermarket which is handy. I did not realise the bathroom was outside of our accommodation and that there was no running water/sink in our room. It was also very musty and airless. There were no flyscreens to open windows without mosquitos and insects coming in. It was tricky to understand where to enter the property, however the owner helped with this. There was only one bed made up for two single people. I thought there……

“The property was really lovely for a couple with a pooch. Small back yard with grass and outdoor furniture and an undercover entertaining area which was perfect for the hot evenings. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and the walk to local shops was 15 mins and walk to beach was 2 min. Perfect travel location to other parts of Port Stephens.”

“The cottage is beautifully surrounded by gardens, with a certain old world feel about it. The cottage is filled with old antique furniture and old books as well as two fireplaces which we made good use of. There were a few things that were less than ideal; two chairs heavily covered in dust, a live cockroach under our pillow and one in the kitchen (with no bug spray for us to get rid of it) and a lack of storage space in the second bedroom (the one with two singles) to unpack our clothing during……
